Club Hotel Dolphin was awarded the ISO 22000:2005 on Food Safety Management System for operations of kitchens, stewarding, banquets, restaurants & bars. This accreditation was given by SGS Lanka, a fully owned subsidiary of SGS Geneva Switzerland, a global benchmark for quality & integrity, operating in over 145 countries.

Spokesperson for Serendib Leisure stated that 'Our guests are becoming increasingly aware and concerned about food safety and quality and want to be assured that the hotel meets their needs and standards'.

'Therefore the ISO 22000:2005 certification demonstrates the hotel's commitment to food quality and safety at its highest possible level', he added.

This certification will no doubt give a competitive edge to Club Hotel Dolphin (CHD) to continue to strengthen its leadership positions in its category.
